The Problem
With the world becoming ever more digital, Facebook set themselves a mission to teach 1 million people digital skills by 2020, to provide everyone with a fair opportunity to succeed in the workplace. Facebook asked us to help create an online learning platform that was effective on a global scale to help them reach their education goal.
The Solution
We built Learn with Facebook – an online learning platform that covers a range of topics from learning how to use social media for marketing, to more advanced subjects like coding. We offer practical information, expert advice and make learning flexible with bite-sized lessons that allow learners to control what, when and where they learn.
It was essential that we created content that learners could really digest and retain. So to make the material as engaging as possible we introduced interactive elements to encourage more active learning. From quizzes and knowledge checks to animations and illustrations, we filled each lesson with activities for learners to do. That meant they had to pay attention and get involved to get the answers correct before progressing onto the next lesson.
The Results
Learn With Facebook launched across nine markets including India, Germany, France, US, Brazil, Mexico, Italy, Spain and Poland, where we trained over 4 million people.
